Anthoret was the daughter of Peter Hord I and granddaughter of John and Elizabeth Hord. She was likely born about 1745. She married her cousin Jesse Hord, son of Thomas Hord, Gentleman on May 7,1772. In 1786, Jesse and Anthoret moved to the Kentucky frontier where they raised a family of nine children. This lineage of the Hord family produced many prominent Hord family members including the Reverend Arnold Harris Hord.
Anthoret (Antoinette) Hord died in Mason County, Kentucky however, her resting place is unknown; it is likely that she is located in another undiscovered Hord Family cemetery in Mason County.
